ITINERARY

Day 1: Mon. Jun 30 – HONOLULU: Depart Honolulu 
Enjoy your journey through the skies and prepare for the wonderful adventure that awaits you in Japan. 

Day 2: Tue. Jul 1 – AIR TERMINAL HOTEL
Welcome to Japan! After arriving at Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. After completing immigration procedures, we check-in to our hotel connecting to the Airport. Put your feet up, relax, and get ready for the Hokkaido tour. 

Day 3: Wed. Jul 2 – OMO7 ASAHIKAWA or Similar
Start the day by visiting the Ecorin Village, a 40-hectare space in Eniwa that consists of a Welcome Center, English gardens, animal farms, restaurants, camping grounds and the world’s largest tomato plant. Next, stop by the Sunagawa Highway Oasis, a highway rest area, for bathroom breaks and food services.  After a day filled with experiences, we'll return to the hotel to relax and prepare for tomorrow's journey. 

Day 4: Thu. Jul 3 – OMO7 ASAHIKAWA 
Starting the day, we will visit the Asahiyama Zoo and explore its unique displays, such as the underwater glass penguin tunnels, "seal eye" domes in the polar bear exhibit, and the suspension bridge connecting the lesser panda enclosures. After enjoying a zoo, we'll head to the Otokoyama Sake Brewery to learn about the traditional Japanese sake-making process. This brewery is renowned as one of the most famous sake brands in Japan and is also popular in North America. In the afternoon, after a day filled with these enriching experiences, we will return to the hotel to relax and prepare for tomorrow's journey. 

Day 5: Fri. Jul 4 – SAHORO RESORT HOTEL(ONSEN) or Similar 
Start the day by visiting the Shirogane Blue Pond, a man-made pond located in Biei. The pond's deep blue hues became famous when it was used as the wallpaper for Apple computers. Next, go through the Roller Coaster Road, named from its sudden ups and downs, and arrive at the Shikisai-no-Oka. This is a 7-hectare flower garden hill located in Biei and it features a patchwork pattern of vivid colors from April to October. Continue onto Farm Tomita, famous for its fields of lavender and beautiful landscapes. This is one of the most photographed spots in Hokkaido. After enjoying our day out, we will go back to the hotel. Put your feet up, relax, and get ready for the next day. 

Day 6: Sat. Jul 5 – LAKE TOYA MANSEIKAKU HOTEL TERRACE (ONSEN) 
Today's destination involves a lengthy journey. Let's recharge with Yubari melon, a renowned variety from Yubari City in Hokkaido, known for its exceptional taste and quality, unchanged since its 1960 development. Next, move on to the National Ainu Community Park, Upopoy. This park was opened in July of 2020 with the aim of preserving and promoting knowledge of the Ainu people. The park offers a unique way to learn about the Ainu culture.  After enjoying our day out, we will go back to the hotel. At the hotel you will be able to enjoy a hot spring bath

Day 7: Sun. Jul 6 – ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL SAPPORO 
In the morning, we will visit the Volcano Science Museum to learn about Mount Usu’s volcanic history, eruption mechanism, and the actual eruption sites. Then, let's visit the Bear farm. While admiring Mount Showa Shinzan, we can have a great time feeding the bears and interacting with them, playfully raising our hands to encourage them to beg for treats. And then, let's make our way to Sapporo, the largest city in Hokkaido, Japan. Upon arrival, we will stay at a hotel near Sapporo Station, which offers a wide range of shopping opportunities, including the Pokémon Center and various electronics stores, where you can explore numerous products and items.

Day 8: Mon. Jul 7 – ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL SAPPORO 
We'll start the day by visiting Hokkaido Shrine, a Shinto shrine located in Sapporo dedicated to the spirits of emperors and prominent historical figures of Japan. Afterward, we'll explore the Sapporo Beer Museum, where visitors can learn about the history and production of Sapporo Beer, one of Japan's most popular beer brands. Next, we'll head over to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, a favorite destination for both locals and tourists. This bustling street offers a wide array of shopping opportunities, including not only souvenirs but also unique options like drugstores. It's a place where you can enjoy shopping that goes beyond the usual, providing a glimpse into the local culture. After a day of exploration, we'll return to the hotel to unwind and prepare for the next day. 

Day 9: Tue. Jul 8 – GRAND PARK OTARU 
Starting the day at Shiroi Koibito Park, also known as "White Lover," a popular destination in Hokkaido renowned for its unique and stylish sweets, featuring romantic branding that has made it a favorite among both locals and visitors. Following our visit to Shiroi Koibito Park, we will proceed to the Otaru Music Box Museum to admire the exquisite music boxes handcrafted by local artisans. The museum proudly displays an Aeolian pipe organ and an extensive collection of antique music boxes, offering a delightful and enchanting experience for all. The hotel is surrounded by a marina, creating a serene location where you can enjoy leisurely strolls. After arriving at the hotel, take your time to relax and unwind. 
Note: Depending on the timing of our return flight, we may also consider an optional activity at Sapporo Central Wholesale Market, a renowned market in Hokkaido where seasonal ingredients are gathered. 

Day 10: Wed. Jul 9 – GRAND PARK OTARU 
Depart from the hotel to Yoichi. First, visit the Nitori Sightseeing Orchard, which offers all-you-can-eat fruit picking. 
Then, visit “Kakizaki Shoten”, a seafood store known for its fresh catch. If the weather permits, visitors can take a cruise along the Otaru Canal (Optional), a historic waterway that passes through a charming neighborhood with some historic buildings. After check-in, enjoy going for a walk around the neighborhood. (Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.) 

Day 11: Thu. Jul 10 – HOKKAIDO to HONOLULU 
At checkout time the guide will come to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to the airport. After check-out we will head to Chitose International Airport and board flight # to Honolulu. We will arrive at Honolulu in the same morning. (Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.)

SINGLE OCCUPANCY (4 single rooms only) $5,050.00 per person
PLUS AIRFARE $1,800.00 (ESTIMATED AIRFARE)

NOTE:
Children under 7 years old will receive a 50% discount on the travel fare when traveling.
Children under 12 years old will receive a 30% discount on the travel fare when traveling.
In both cases mentioned above, if an extra bed is required, it will be charged at the regular rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
45 days prior to departure – Full refund
44-30 days prior: 50% cancel fee of the tour price, per person charge
29-15 days prior: 75% cancel fee of the tour price, per person charge
14 days prior or less: 100% cancel fee of the tour price, per person, no refund.

GENERAL CONDITIONS TOUR INCLUDES:
Hotel accommodations, transfers, and sightseeing. Adjustments will be made if there is an increase in fuel surcharges and any fluctuation in exchange rates between US Dollars and Japanese Yen.

AIR TRANSPORTATION:
Air service within tours is included except for people buying the land portion only.
Airfare inclusive rates are based on advanced purchase and may be subject to certain airline restrictions and penalties. Adjustments will be made if there is any increase on taxes.

PASSPORTS:
All clients are reminded that a valid passport is necessary in all cases.
The cost of obtaining these documents will be the responsibility of the traveler.
The organizer assumes no responsibility whatsoever, should a client, for any reason be refused entry into any particular country, and the subsequent costs entailed will have to be met by the traveler in accordance with obligations that the organizer has in virtue of the contracts held with third parties.Passport must be valid within 6 months at time of departure.A photocopy of your passport is required for all tours.

IF THE TOUR OPERATOR CANCELS:
Should RNL Tours, LLC. cancel a departure for any reason, your money will be fully refunded.

CHANGES IN ITINERARIES:
RNL Tours, LLC. will make every effort to operate all tours as disclosed in this document.
However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to the tour. We will however do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reserve the right to make such modifications if they are determined to be necessary
