ITINERARY

Day 1: Fri. Oct 17 – HONOLULU: Depart Honolulu 
Enjoy your journey through the skies and prepare for the wonderful adventure that awaits you in Japan. 

Day 2: Sat. Oct 18 – VILLA FONTAINE GRAND HANEDA AIRPORT 
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at Haneda International Airport, complete the immigration procedures. After checking in at the hotel, take some time to unwind and prepare for the upcoming day. Put your feet up, relax, and get ready for the HAULE LAU JOURNEY TOHOKU. 

Day 3: Sun. Oct 19 – ONAHAMA OCEAN HOTEL(Onsen) or Similar
First, visit a local fruit farm to pick and eat the Japanese persimmon, the national fruit of Japan and a symbol of autumn. Next, visit Hitachi Seaside Park, a vast park located on sand dunes formed by silt from the nearby river and ocean. The park features seasonal flowers and green spaces spread out across 350 hectares and is famous for its fields of flowers, particularly kochia balls and colorful cosmos flowers in autumn. After enjoying our day out we will go back to the hotel. At the hotel you will be able to enjoy a hot spring bath. 

Day 4: Mon. Oct 20 – URABANDAI LAKE RESORT (Onsen) 
Start the day by visiting Aquamarine Fukushima also known as Marine Science Museum in Iwaki City. It was extensively rebuilt and expanded after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. The aquarium features over 800 species of marine life with the world's largest touch pool. you can catch and eat their own fish as part of the museum's sustainable fishing and educational aims. You can also take a 10-minute walk from the aquarium to the large shopping mall "Iwaki La La Mew Market" with a large fish market that offers fresh seafood dishes such as the popular seafood bowl, as well as local souvenirs like dried fish. After enjoying our day out we will go back to the hotel. At the hotel you will be able to enjoy a hot spring bath.

Day 5: Tue. Oct 21 – MERCURE MIYAGI ZAO RESORT AND SPA (Onsen)
This morning, for those interested, let's take a walk around Hibara Lake, located right in front of our hotel. Hibara Lake is a beautiful volcanic lake in Urabandai and the largest among many lakes and ponds created by the eruption of Mount Bandai. It has colorful islands floating on it, and you can enjoy wonderful scenery in every season. After that, we will head to Goshiki (five-colored) Ponds, or "Goshikinuma." These are a cluster of five volcanic lakes located in Urabandai at the foot of Mt. Bandai. The area is known for its hiking trails and scenic views of the colorful ponds and lakes. The color of the lakes changes depending on the weather, time, and minerals in the water. Driving through the north foot of Mount Adatara in autumn, there are stunning views of its colorful foliage that covers its slopes and valleys. After enjoying our day out we will head to the hotel in Zao town. At the hotel you will be able to enjoy a hot spring bath. 

Day 6: Wed. Oct 22 – ANA CROWNE PLAZA RESORT APPI KOGEN (Onsen) 
First, head to “Genbikei,” a scenic gorge located in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. The gorge was designated as a national scenic spot and natural monument in 1927. you can enjoy its natural beauty, including its rock formations, deep pools, and waterfalls. Next, stop by “Iwachu,” a traditional cast ironware manufacturer located in Morioka city. The company has been producing southern ironware for over 100 years and continues to make over one million pieces annually. The Iwachu Casting Works is a popular tourist destination in Morioka. After enjoying our day out we will go back to the hotel. At the hotel you will be able to enjoy a hot spring bath. 

Day 7: Thu. Oct 23 – ART HOTEL HIROSAKI CITY 
Begin the day by heading over Towada-ko, a double caldera lake formed through volcanic activity on the border between Aomori and Akita prefectures. It is the largest crater lake on Honshu Island and the third deepest lake in Japan. You can also enjoy the view on a cruise around the lake. End the day by visiting Tsugaru Traditional Crafts Museum.This museum showcases a diverse collection of traditional farming equipment and handmade crafts that have been cherished and crafted for generations. After check-in, the guide will take the group for a walk around the neighborhood. 

Day 8: Fri. Oct 24 – ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL AKITA 
First, we will enjoy the delightful experience of apple picking, savoring the sweet and juicy apples that are in season. Aomori is renowned as the largest producer of apples in Japan.  Following our apple-picking adventure, we will commence our day by visiting Akita Inu no Sato, also known as Akita Dog Village. The Akita dog is synonymous with Akita and is celebrated for its unwavering loyalty, obedience, and the strong bond it forms with its owners. This remarkable breed has gained international recognition, notably through the well-known movie "HACHI: A Dog's Tale." After check-in, the guide will take the group for a walk around the neighborhood 

Day 9: Sat. Oct 25 – HOTEL ONIKOUBE (Onsen) 
Start the day by visiting Akita Furusato Mura, a theme park in Yokote City. It features a variety of attractions and experiences, including a planetarium, trick art, a souvenir market and you can try traditional local cuisine at the Furusato Restaurant. In addition, the traditional streets of the village are a great representation of a typical Japanese countryside. Next, Embark on an epicurean adventure with Inaniwa Udon, one of Japan's top three udon varieties. Head to Sato Yoske Main Store, a venerable establishment boasting 150+ years of history. Witness artisans' skill through glass, explore history and production exhibits.The hotel is in the Onikoube area, which is a caldera formed by a volcanic eruption about 200,000 years ago. It is famous for its hot springs and ski resort and the terrain, which has a landscape reminiscent of hell. At the hotel you will be able to enjoy a hot spring bath.(ONSEN) 

Day 10: Sun. Oct 26 – THE WESTIN SENDAI or Similar
Start the day by visiting Naruko Gorge in Osaki City, which is one of the most famous autumn color spots in the Tohoku Region. Brilliant oranges, golden yellows, and crimson reds of the autumn trees fill the mountainside. Then, transition to the Kokeshi Doll Museum that displays traditional kokeshi dolls from the Tohoku region of Japan. Kokeshi dolls were originally made as toys for children and as souvenirs for hot springs in the Tohoku region. You can see demonstrations of how the dolls are made. End the day by visiting Matsushima, a group of 260 small islands located in Matsushima Bay in Miyagi. It is considered one of the three most scenic views in Japan. The area is famous for its local seafood, especially oysters, anago (salt-water eels), and nori seaweed. After check-in, the guide will take the group for a walk around the neighborhood. 

Day 11 Mon. Oct 27 – ROYAL PINES URAWA 
Depart from the hotel and move to Sendai Station. Take the world-famous Shinkansen Bullet train to Omiya Station. Then head to Omiya Bonsai museum, the world's first public BONSAI museum, which collects and exhibits an outstanding collection of bonsai. After check-in, the guide will take the group for a walk around the neighborhood. 

Day 12: Tue. Oct 28 – ROYAL PINES URAWA 
In the morning we will head to Kinbue Soy Sauce Park,a long-established soy sauce brewery founded in 1701. They offer visitors the opportunity to "eat”,"learn," and "buy," a soy sauce brewery factory tour, After the brewery, head to Kawagoe City, commonly called “Koedo'' where you can experience the four eras of the Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei eras while retaining the atmosphere of Edo. And there, Visit “Kashiya Yokocho'', a side street which was established in the Edo period (1603-1868) by several confectioners who started manufacturing Japanese sweets and see “The Time Bell Tower'', symbol of Koedo Kawagoe that has been telling "time" essential to daily life since the early Edo period. After check-in, the guide will take the group for a walk around the neighborhood.  (Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.) 

Day 13: Wed. Oct 29 – AIRPORT - HONOLULU 
At checkout time the guide will come to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to the airport. After check-in we will head to Haneda International Airport and board flight to Honolulu. We will arrive at Honolulu in the same morning. (Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.)

PLUS AIRFARE $1,800.00 (ESTIMATED AIRFARE)

NOTE:
Children under 7 years old will receive a 50% discount on the travel fare when traveling.
Children under 12 years old will receive a 30% discount on the travel fare when traveling.
In both cases mentioned above, if an extra bed is required, it will be charged at the regular rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
45 days prior to departure – Full refund
44-30 days prior: 50% cancel fee of the tour price, per person charge
29-15 days prior: 75% cancel fee of the tour price, per person charge
14 days prior or less: 100% cancel fee of the tour price, per person, no refund.

GENERAL CONDITIONS TOUR INCLUDES:
Hotel accommodations, transfers, and sightseeing. Adjustments will be made if there is an increase in fuel surcharges and any fluctuation in exchange rates between US Dollars and Japanese Yen.

AIR TRANSPORTATION:
Air service within tours is included except for people buying the land portion only.
Airfare inclusive rates are based on advanced purchase and may be subject to certain airline restrictions and penalties. Adjustments will be made if there is any increase on taxes.

PASSPORTS:
All clients are reminded that a valid passport is necessary in all cases.
The cost of obtaining these documents will be the responsibility of the traveler.
The organizer assumes no responsibility whatsoever, should a client, for any reason be refused entry into any particular country, and the subsequent costs entailed will have to be met by the traveler in accordance with obligations that the organizer has in virtue of the contracts held with third parties.Passport must be valid within 6 months at time of departure.A photocopy of your passport is required for all tours.

IF THE TOUR OPERATOR CANCELS:
Should RNL Tours, LLC. cancel a departure for any reason, your money will be fully refunded.

CHANGES IN ITINERARIES:
RNL Tours, LLC. will make every effort to operate all tours as disclosed in this document.
However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to the tour. We will however do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reserve the right to make such modifications if they are determined to be necessary
