ITINERARY

Day 1: Sun. Mar 8–  HONOLULU: Depart Honolul
Enjoy your journey through the skies and prepare for the wonderful adventure that awaits you in Japan. 

Day 2: Mon. Mar 9 – VILLA FONTAINE GRAND HANEDA AIRPORT  
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at either Haneda International Airport, complete the immigration procedures. After checking in at the hotel, take some time to unwind and prepare for the upcoming day. Put your feet up, relax, and get ready for the SPRING SUMO with CHERRY BLOSSOM TOUR

Day 3: Tue. Mar 10 – HOTEL GRAND NIKKO DAIBA or Similar
Our journey begins in Tokyo, the vibrant capital of Japan.We’ll start with a leisurely stroll around the Imperial Palace, enjoying its elegant gardens and peaceful surroundings. Afterward, we’ll head to Ameyoko, a lively market street filled with local shops, street food, and a bustling atmosphere perfect for browsing and exploring.Next, we’ll visit Ryogoku’s Kokugikan Sumo Stadium, where the Sumo Museum offers a fascinating look into the history and traditions of Japan’s national sport.For lunch, we’ll enjoy Chanko-nabe, a hearty hot pot dish famously loved by sumo wrestlers.After a fulfilling day of sightseeing and cultural discovery, we’ll return to our hotel for a relaxing evening, preparing for the adventures that await us tomorrow.
Note:The schedule is subject to change depending on availability. The morning sumo practice viewing may be replaced with another activity.

Day 4: Wed. Mar 11 – ATAMI BAY RESORT KORAKUEN (Onsen)
This morning, we’ll head to the Yokohama Central Wholesale Market, where you can experience the lively atmosphere of one of Japan’s major seafood and produce markets. It’s the perfect place to catch a glimpse of the daily life of local vendors and enjoy fresh, seasonal ingredients.Afterward, we’ll visit Sankeien Garden, a historic Japanese garden opened to the public in 1906 by silk merchant Tomitaro Hara. The garden features beautifully preserved buildings from across Japan, including tea houses and ancient temples. In spring, it’s also a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing, offering a serene setting filled with seasonal beauty and cultural heritage.Following our time in Yokohama, we’ll journey to the Atami area, where our hotel awaits. Take this evening to relax and unwind, surrounded by the soothing atmosphere of this coastal hot spring resort, as we prepare for the next day’s adventures.

Day 5: Thu. Mar 12 – ATAMI BAY RESORT KORAKUEN (Onsen)
This morning, we’ll begin with a visit to Mount Omuro (Ōmuroyama), a dormant volcano with a distinctive bowl-shaped crater. A short lift ride takes us to the summit, where panoramic views of the Izu Peninsula, Mt. Fuji, and even the ocean await. The area is particularly scenic during cherry blossom season, as the base of the mountain is home to Sakura no Sato, a vast park with around 40 varieties of cherry trees that bloom in succession, offering a breathtaking spring display.Next, we’ll head to the nearby Izu Shaboten Zoo, a charming animal park known for its close-up encounters with capybaras, monkeys, and other small animals, as well as its impressive cactus greenhouse collection. It’s a fun and relaxing place where nature and animals come together, perfect for all ages.
After enjoying the natural beauty and animal encounters, we’ll make our way back to the hotel to unwind and prepare for the next day’s journey.

Day 6: Fri. Mar 13 – HOTEL ASSOCIA SHIZUOKA
This morning, we’ll visit the Atami Trick Art Museum, where you can enjoy a playful and interactive art experience. The museum features a variety of optical illusion artworks that allow you to become part of the scene — perfect for fun photos and a lighthearted start to the day. Next, we’ll head to Izu Fruit Park, where you’ll enjoy a fruit-picking experience with fresh, seasonal produce from the region. It’s a relaxing activity that lets you savor the flavors of Izu’s natural bounty. We’ll then make our way to the sacred Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha, the head shrine of over 1,300 Sengen shrines across Japan. Located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, this historic shrine has long been a spiritual center for those who worship the mountain. Interestingly, while much of Mt. Fuji is national land, the area from the 8th station to the summit actually belongs to Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha. Take time to stroll through the peaceful grounds and admire the shrine’s beautiful architecture, deeply connected to Mt. Fuji’s cultural and spiritual heritage. After a fulfilling day, we’ll return to our hotel to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures.

Day 7: Sat. Mar 14 – NAGOYA KANKO HOTEL
This morning, we’ll visit the Hamamatsu Flower Park, a vast botanical garden home to over 3,000 varieties of plants and flowers. Depending on the season, you may be greeted by vibrant tulips, cherry blossoms, or roses in full bloom. Strolling through its beautifully landscaped grounds and themed gardens offers a refreshing and colorful start to the day. Next, we’ll head to the Unagi Pie Factory, where the famous sweet snack from Hamamatsu is made. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the production process of these buttery eel-flavored pastries, along with fun displays and tastings. It’s a unique local experience combining tradition, craftsmanship, and a bit of deliciousness.After a fulfilling day, we’ll return to our hotel to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures.

Day 8: Sun. Mar 15 – BIWAKO HOTEL(Onsen) or Similar
This morning, we’ll begin with a visit to the Nagoya City Science Museum, home to one of the world’s largest planetariums. The museum offers engaging, hands-on exhibits covering a wide range of scientific fields from space and physics to biology and robotics making it an exciting and educational stop. Next, we’ll stop by Mega Don Quijote, a popular and eclectic shopping destination where you can browse everything from souvenirs and snacks to cosmetics and electronics. We’ll then head to the Sekigahara Battlefield Memorial Museum, located at the site of one of Japan’s most important historical battles. Through dynamic exhibits, reconstructions, and digital presentations, you’ll gain insight into the Battle of Sekigahara, a decisive conflict that shaped the course of Japanese history.After a fulfilling day of discovery and exploration, we’ll return to our hotel to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures, carrying with us the memories and insights from today’s journey.

Day 9: Mon. Mar 16 –  BIWAKO HOTEL(Onsen) or Similar
This morning, we’ll begin with a refreshing Lake Biwa Cruise, where you can enjoy scenic views of Japan’s largest lake and the surrounding mountains. The tranquil atmosphere and gentle breeze make for a peaceful and memorable start to the day. Next, we’ll visit Kanefuku Mentai Park, a fun and informative facility dedicated to mentaiko (seasoned cod roe). Learn about the production process, enjoy freshly made samples, and explore a variety of mentaiko-themed goods. We’ll then head to the Biwako Terrace, a stunning mountaintop spot offering panoramic views of Lake Biwa. Reached by ropeway, this scenic terrace is known for its breathtaking vistas and stylish cafes. After a day of lakeside beauty and flavorful experiences, we’ll return to our hotel to unwind and prepare for tomorrow’s journey.
Note: Due to seasonal operations, access to Biwako Terrace may be limited. In such cases, this activity may be replaced with an alternative.

Day 10: Tue. Mar 17 – HOTEL NIKKO OSAKA or Similar
This morning, we’ll begin with a visit to the Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts, where you can explore the rich artistry that has shaped Kyoto’s cultural legacy. From lacquerware and textiles to ceramics and woodworking, the museum showcases the skill and beauty of over 70 traditional crafts, offering a deep appreciation for the city’s heritage. Next, we’ll stroll through the Kyoto Botanical Gardens, Japan’s oldest public botanical garden. With its seasonal flowers, serene pathways, and impressive conservatory, it’s a peaceful haven that reflects the natural elegance of Kyoto. We’ll then make our way to the iconic Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), one of Kyoto’s most celebrated landmarks. This stunning Zen temple, adorned with gold leaf and reflected in a tranquil pond, offers a truly captivating scene. After a day steeped in tradition and beauty, we’ll return to our hotel to rest and prepare for the next day’s journey. Note: Depending on crowd levels or other conditions, the visit to Kinkaku-ji may be replaced with an alternative activity.

Day 11: Wed. Mar 18  – HOTEL NIKKO OSAKA or Similar
Today, we’ll enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace before heading out to experience the Osaka Grand Sumo Tournament. Watching the powerful bouts live offers a unique glimpse into one of Japan’s most iconic traditions, complete with ceremonial rituals, cheering fans, and intense matches that showcase the spirit of sumo. It’s sure to be a memorable highlight of the day. After the tournament, we’ll return to the hotel to unwind and reflect on this dynamic cultural experience.

Day 12: Thu. Mar 19 – HOTEL NIKKO OSAKA or Similar
This morning, we’ll visit the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the world’s largest and most spectacular aquariums. With its immersive design and diverse exhibits, you’ll encounter marine life from the Pacific Rim, including the iconic whale shark, colorful tropical fish, and playful otters — all showcased in beautifully recreated ocean environments. Afterward, we’ll head to a nearby AEON Mall, where you can enjoy some leisure time shopping for souvenirs, local snacks, or simply relaxing in one of the many cafés and stores. It’s a convenient and enjoyable way to wrap up the day’s adventures. We’ll then return to our hotel for a restful evening and prepare for what lies ahead.(Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.)

Day 13: Fri. Mar 20  –  OSAKA - HONOLULU
At checkout time the guide will come to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to the airport.  After check out we will head to Kansai international Airport and board flight # to Honolulu. We will arrive at Honolulu in the same morning.  (Lunch and Dinner will be at your own expense.)

CANCELLATION POLICY:
45 days prior to departure – Full refund
44-30 days prior: 50% cancel fee of the tour price, per person charge
29-15 days prior: 75% cancel fee of the tour price, per person charge
14 days prior or less: 100% cancel fee of the tour price, per person, no refund.

GENERAL CONDITIONS TOUR INCLUDES:
Hotel accommodations, transfers, and sightseeing. Adjustments will be made if there is an increase in fuel surcharges and any fluctuation in exchange rates between US Dollars and Japanese Yen.

AIR TRANSPORTATION:
Air service within tours is included except for people buying the land portion only.
Airfare inclusive rates are based on advanced purchase and may be subject to certain airline restrictions and penalties. Adjustments will be made if there is any increase on taxes.

PASSPORTS:
All clients are reminded that a valid passport is necessary in all cases.
The cost of obtaining these documents will be the responsibility of the traveler.
The organizer assumes no responsibility whatsoever, should a client, for any reason be refused entry into any particular country, and the subsequent costs entailed will have to be met by the traveler in accordance with obligations that the organizer has in virtue of the contracts held with third parties.Passport must be valid within 6 months at time of departure.A photocopy of your passport is required for all tours.

IF THE TOUR OPERATOR CANCELS:
Should RNL Tours, LLC. cancel a departure for any reason, your money will be fully refunded.

CHANGES IN ITINERARIES:
RNL Tours, LLC. will make every effort to operate all tours as disclosed in this document.
However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to the tour. We will however do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reserve the right to make such modifications if they are determined to be necessary
